  • Am I too old/I have injuries/I'm apprehensive to join..
Martial arts is for everyone. Regardless of your barrier, we work with you in order to work towards your goals. Whether your goals are health, competitive or just to learn the art, we're here to support you.
  • What is the difference between competitive and recreational training?
Recreational training is where it starts. Here is where we focus on self-defense, discipline and the the basis of learning the art. After you have started and trained, you can choose to start going to tournaments. We believe tournaments help build character and confidence.
  • Are Martial arts classes safe?
Our children’s curriculum is designed to accommodate children ages 2 and up. This allows children to successfully learn and perform their moves so that they will feel good about themselves. Our curriculum is challenging but never too difficult. All of our classes are highly supervised by our instructors and assistants.
  • Will my child have fun?
Motivation, excitement and fun are the essential tools we use to increase the learning and discipline for our students. Learning creates a spirit of teamwork and a sense of belonging. We also offer bully basics and stranger danger classes and information to support children in need.
  • How do you make sure my kids won't use Martial Arts on other kids?
From the first class we emphasize the use of martial arts for peace over the world, which is what our bow represents. Respect, self-defense and exercise are 3 principles that we reinforce on a daily basis. When a child understands and practices these concepts they use the knowledge they have to resolve conflict in a peaceful manner. A strong value is placed on the training and art and the child is encouraged to treat that knowledge with respect.
