Team Canada comes back successful!

On the week of January 1-8th, 2012, members of Shamuon Generation of Martial Arts travelled down to the Dominican Republic to compete in the International Games hosted by the International Congress of Martial Arts. The competition brought along some great competition, but as always, members of Team Canada raised the bar with their amazing talents.

Total medal count:

45 Gold
46 Silver
37 Bronze

3 Triple Crown winners (All three representing Shamuon Generation)
6 Kyu belt Triple Crown winners (4 representing Shamuon Generation)

**A Triple Crown is when one athlete wins 3 gold medals in the tournament

The Team Canada get together will be held on Sunday February 26th at 12:30 at Shamuon Generation of Martial Arts. This get together will bring all the athletes from Team Canada 2012 to share their memories as well as the big announcement of the 2013 International Games location! Any one who is interested in the 2013 competition is more than welcome to attend!
