Sifu Silvana Shamuon

Sijay Silvana has been in the martial arts for over 13 years. She received her Jr Black Belt at the age of 11.

She competes in over 20 tournaments a year and is a member of the PMA (Professional Martial Arts Alliance).

She currently holds the Triple Crown Title for the PMA.

She is a member of the Canadian National Martial Arts Team and Demo Team.

She is also on her club’s demo team performing for the Dragon Boat Races, M & M Meats, Multicultural Festival, Toronto Street Festival and many more. She not only helps students younger then herself, but older aswell.

She competed in the World Congress of Martial Arts tournament, competing in divisions like Forms, Weapons, Sparring, Wushu, and Open Musical.

She holds a Triple Crown World Title for the WCOAA.

Silvana has been on the Canadian National Martial Arts Team since 2004 competing in Jamaica.

In 2006 in Dominican, Silvana competed in the Goodwill Games winning gold in forms, gold in weapons, gold in sparring, silver in chanbara, silver in synchronized, bronze in wushu forms, and bronze in open forms. By winning 3 golds, she won the title of Triple Crown World Champion

In 2007 in Cancun, Silvana competed in the Goodwill Games winning gold in forms, gold in weapons, gold in sparring, silver in synchronized, bronze in wushu forms and bronze in wushu weapons. By winning 3 golds, she once again won a title of Triple Crown World Champion.

In 2008 in Puerto Vallarta, Silvana won gold in forms, gold in weapons, and a gold in sparring. Silvana was not only presented a Triple Crown World Champion, she was also the undefeated sparring competed for 4 years.

In 2009 in Cuba, Silvana won gold in forms and silver in sparring.

Silvana has been inducted into the Universal Black Belt Hall of Fame in both 2008 and 2009 as Female Black Belt Competitor of the Year
